For some time now, Storci S.p.A. has been concentrating all its expertise and experience on the creation of a couscous line capable of obtaining the best.
*Its production lines range from 300 to 500 kg/h, and up to 2400 kg/h with the equipment of its partner, Fava S.p.A.
Particular attention* has been dedicated to the components responsible for guaranteeing a higher output and a superior quality product from the same ingredients. *The hydration and consistency system and the scrap recovery system have been substantially improved as they are fundamental to the characterization of the couscous. The cooking phase is extremely precise in order to guarantee thorough and even cooking, through the injection of steam above and below the product.

And the belt is also designed for easy sanitation. Another strong point is the original sieving method of the couscous before it enters the dryer. This unique and original method guarantees that all lumps exceeding the desired granule size of the couscous will be automatically returned to the cake of product entering the crumbler.

This renders drying extremely simple and well-balanced. The rouleuse is a particularly suitable type of dryer for this product and the type of ventilation chosen improves its performance even further. The product dries easily requiring a quantity of energy that is directly proportional to a uniformly evaporating mass. This is followed by an exceptionally high-efficiency cooler with a vibrating fluidized bed. Using the ambient air, it has the capacity to send the couscous for sieving at a temperature that is optimal for the phases that follow. The selecting and filtering unit has a very simple task as the couscous arrives, at the end of the cycle, already at the maximum admissible granule size, so that further grinding is not required; in this way the couscous is produced with a brighter finish, less residual powder and, consequently, a higher yield.
