The key to the production of fusilli bucati lunghi is the spreader unit designed to distribute the extruded pasta shapes on racks in the best possible way without distorting or stretching the product. The press is constructed with variable-shaped screws and a special cylinder; these limit the heating of the dough mix and improve the quality of the pasta. The press dryer and the robot are designed to move the racks which then fit into the long-cut pasta trolleys at the end of the line. The line is completed by the Storci drying cells, the drying parameters of which are managed by the Prof-X centralized management system which interfaces with the PLCs installed in the individual cells.
